Description
Whenever people think of kimchi, they think of the famous napa cabbage or Chinese cabbage. This large, oval cabbage is an extremely important part of Korean and Chinese cuisine... and Asian cuisine in the broader sense. The taste of Chinese cabbage is milder than that of Western green cabbage, and its leaves are much crisper. They are not recommended for salads as they contain more water. Ideally, they are suggested to be used as wraps and in broths with meat and vegetables.
