Description
The Winery – Distillery of the Tokalis family produces wine and tsipouro from its own organic vineyards. It is one of the few distilleries in the country that produce double-distilled tsipouro. The tsipouro is produced, distilled, bottled, and offered exclusively with grapes from its own production, within the private distillery by the members of the Tokalis family and the company’s staff with great dedication, using excellent technical methods, and scientific control at all stages. It is flavored with anise from our own production, as well as anise from Karystos. It remains for 6-8 months before bottling to “age” in the tanks. The quality of the tsipouro is characterized by the delicate aroma of anise used in small doses, allowing the senses to perceive the taste and fragrance of the grape without overpowering it. Double-distilled, flavorful, without heavy anise aromas or “burnt” distillery notes, and free of methanol, it allows consumption without side effects on humans (headaches, stomach discomfort, etc.).
